Marine and Environmental is a branch of UIC Commercial Services consisting of four subsidiary companies: UIC Oil & Gas Support, LLC, UMIAQ Environmental, LLC, UIC Bowhead Transport, LLC and UIC Qayaq Marine, LLC. These companies provide a full range of services with nearly forty years of experience serving the oil and gas needs in Alaska, providing door-to-shore barge and lighterage service to/from and between Alaska communities for more than 30 years, and comprehensive environmental permitting and consulting services with expertise in working in remote locations. Several of our companies are SBA 8(a) certified and offer substantially competitive rates.
Over the years our companies have developed project management systems and delivery methods under a cultural framework of teamwork, accountability and creativity providing custom services that are particularly adapted to our
client’s needs.
