Attention Nuiqsut Residents!
Enter your design for a front cover for the Nuiqsut Comprehensive Plan for a chance to win $400!
The deadline to submit the design is December 15, 2021. The winner will be announced on January 26, 2022.
The Nuiqsut comprehensive plan is intended to guide decision-making for the preservation, investment, and development of current and future community resources and infrastructure over the next twenty years.
You may enter as many cover designs as you’d like. The designs should fit on a standard 8 1/2 X 11" page, and the file size should be no smaller than two megabytes to ensure a high enough digital quality for printing. If submitting a photo of a person or persons, you must have their permission. All drawings or photos must be the original work of the submitter or have permission from the owner. All ages are encouraged to participate. The submissions must have the words (Nuiqsut Comprehensive Plan 2022 – 2042) included in the designs.
The winner will be determined by a community vote via an electronic survey or Facebook posting, or both.
The cover will be used for the Nuiqsut Comprehensive Plan only. Credit will be given to the designer.
