UIC Acquires Majority Interest in HME Construction

Expanding Capabilities in the Dredging and Marine Construction Industry

UIC is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of a majority share in HME Construction Inc. HME Construction is based in Vancouver, Washington, and is well-known throughout the Pacific Northwest. HME has over 35 years of experience providing marine dock maintenance and dredging services for federal, state, local, and private entities. It boasts a fleet of more than 25 vessels and has a resume of successfully completed projects in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. HME brings its reputation for quality, precise attention to detail, and an excellent safety record to the UIC Family of Companies.

This acquisition continues UIC’s ongoing expansion strategy in the construction industry and enables the company to offer a broader range of services to its valued customers and partners. HME’s strong reputation for excellence and extensive experience in the coastal Pacific Northwest and on the Columbia, Willamette, and Snake Rivers further strengthens UIC’s commitment to growth and expansion along the Pacific Coast.
