Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC) announces that in celebration of our 50th Anniversary, the Board of Directors has approved a $50.00 distribution to our Trust Beneficiaries for 2023. This distribution is the largest in our history and reflects UIC’s unprecedented growth and success in 2022 and our commitment to putting shareholders first!
The $50.00 distribution will be paid in two (2) equal payments of $25.00 per trust beneficiary share. The first payment will be made on June 30, 2023, with a record date of June 6, 2023. The second payment will be made on December 1, 2023, with a record date of October 27, 2023. This year’s distributions are a testament to UIC’s dedication to creating value for our shareholders and the corporation’s strong financial and operational growth.

Along with the distribution, UIC has several exciting events planned for our 50th Anniversary year. UIC officially turns 50 on April 19, 2023. We will hold a 50th Anniversary BBQ in Utqiaġvik at Simmonds Hill on June 1, 2023. There will also be an Informational Meeting and 50th Anniversary Celebration in Anchorage on July 17 and another in Fairbanks on July 21. These events will allow shareholders to come together and celebrate UIC’s accomplishments and meet with the Board of Directors and Executive Management.
